'NY Lottery/CBD Kratom' is an omni-maxi single NYC-based interdisciplinary artist Devin KKenny.

Songs about memory and location and lost love and wandering the roads of Queens and Brooklyn.

Slice of life field recordings and outlandish reinterpretations of nu-metal, funk, and indie-pop songs, along with the title song which draws from tarot, no-wave, NY hardcore and hip-hop : all within KKenny's wingspan. The title comes after hand-painted bodega signage seen while living in Queens for the first time, after more than a decade in the city that never sleeps. This is the 2nd release from KKenny's sprawling multimedia project, 'In Other Words.'

Featuring contributions by multi-instrumentalist Dan Rico and remixes by Jeremy Toussaint-Baptiste and LALIT (of xiao ma aka XMPC)

"A chronicle of love, loss, memory, and reorientation, 'In Other Words' was catalyzed by a single summer day of 2020 in the midst of the pandemic, riding his secondhand e-bike from the Queens Zoo parking lot in Corona, to Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. The sounds are inspired by all the memories of his lost lover that arose while traversing her hometown, while also holding space for the wonderment of new sights seen, scents smelled, air felt and tasted, and the many sounds heard while traveling 9 miles across the boroughs."
